Do you not speak Dutch well (yet)? No problem. At Driving School VAN DER EIJK you can take driving lessons with the help of an interpreter . This way we make sure that you feel at ease and understand everything well — in your own language.

We want you to start your driving lessons with confidence and clarity.

If you want to use an interpreter, you must arrange one yourself . We recommend doing this through ELAN Languages . You can visit this site in Dutch , English , Polish , Turkish , Italian , and Arabic , and then book an interpreter in more than 50 different languages. These interpreters are approved by the CBR (Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing), so they are allowed to accompany you on both your theory and practical exams.
For practical driving lessons, we arrange translation ourselves. So you can always take driving lessons in your own language.

👉 You pay the costs of the approved interpreter during the exam yourself, directly to the interpreting agency. Translation during practical lessons is free of charge.

An interpreter can assist you with:

• your registration with us,
• all driving lessons,
• the theory exam ,
• and the practical exam .

The interpreter translates everything the driving instructor says so that you fully understand the lesson material. This makes the process a lot easier and less stressful.

You can also take an interpreter with you to your practical exam. This ensures that you understand the examiner's explanation well and can take the exam without stress.

This way you don't have to worry about language barriers, you can just focus on learning to drive.
