Do you not speak Dutch well (yet)? No problem. At Driving School VAN DER EIJK you can take driving lessons with the help of an interpreter . This way we make sure that you feel at ease and understand everything well — in your own language.

We want you to start your driving lessons with confidence and clarity.

If you want to use an interpreter, you must arrange this yourself . We recommend that you do this via Global Talk . These interpreters are approved by the CBR , so they are allowed to accompany you during your driving lessons, your theory exam and your practical exam.

👉 You pay the costs of the interpreter yourself, directly to the interpreting agency.

An interpreter can assist you with:

• your registration with us,
• all driving lessons,
• the theory exam ,
• and the practical exam .

The interpreter translates everything the driving instructor says so that you fully understand the lesson material. This makes the process a lot easier and less stressful.

You can also take an interpreter with you to your practical exam. This ensures that you understand the examiner's explanation well and can take the exam without stress.

This way you don't have to worry about language barriers, you can just focus on learning to drive.

During the exam, the interpreter translates all questions and possible answers , so that you understand exactly what is being asked. This way, you can take the exam calmly and with confidence.

PLEASE NOTE: You must indicate in advance that you wish to use an interpreter during your theory or practical exam.

Once you have arranged an interpreter, we ask you to:

• to indicate for which parts you use an interpreter , and
• to provide us with the interpreter's contact details .

This way we can coordinate the planning of your driving lessons and exams with the availability of your interpreter.

Interpreters are not always immediately available. So book in time to avoid disappointment and delays.

Our instructors speak:

• Dutch
• English
• Frisian (understand, but not speak)
• are busy learning Ukrainian and Spanish
