With a career change, I have retrained from professional freight driver ADR with more than 15 years of experience on the road to driving school owner in Friesland. I have gained experience with a colleague where I taught about 30 students on a franchise basis for a while. In 2024 I opened the doors of my own driving school and I am happily the driving school owner of Driving School VAN DER EIJK.

I teach my students how to drive confidently, safely and with decency, according to the driving procedure. I strongly believe in a personal approach, where I adapt the lessons to your needs and learning style. As a Personal Assistant I am responsible for almost all contacts and the agenda of the driving school. I am married to Guido and mother of 4 children. I also run my own professional Maine Coon breeding "Cattery Soot Spirits" and I am a photographer for "Ma Chérie Fotografie". I have a passion for psychology, spirituality, and nature 🌿🌷🐝.

Together with our children, animals and our other companies, we form the safe home base of the driving school.

Our office may not be your traditional workplace, but it is the place where everything comes together. Guido is often on the road, preferably behind the wheel of the driving school car, where he shares his knowledge and experience directly with the students. Cherren ensures that everything in the office runs smoothly, from administration to lesson planning. We keep lines short and ensure efficient organization and personal communication. We work closely with local municipalities such as Dantumadiel and Noardeast-Fryslân to help people from different backgrounds obtain their driving license. Our flexible working model makes it possible to always stay close to our students, both on the road and remotely.
