Introducing

SlowMono

From the moment young people aged 18-24 get their driver's license, they drive independently and make their own choices. However, their age (the brain's developmental stage) leads them to take many risks, such as speeding and being distracted by their phones.

The SlowMono training focuses on this by making young people aware of the risks of speeding and distraction caused by mobile phones during this life-changing event (getting a driver's license).

The SlowMono training is therefore intended for young people who are in the process of obtaining their driving license, as part of their learning process.

SlowMono: the training that lets you experience what driving really demands.

In this intensive 2-hour experience on the skid track and plateau of the VEC Drachten, you will discover how speed, attention, and behavior directly influence your safety.

SlowMono doesn't just make you think, but especially makes you feel.

A workout that lingers—long after you leave the grounds.

Training is suitable for students who are at the level of the interim test.

Slipway – Feel what speed does

In the car, with instructions via walkie-talkie, you'll experience how your reaction time, braking distance, and the road surface all influence each other. You'll immediately see how "a little too fast" translates into meters of extra stopping distance—and why a suitable speed isn't advice, but a lifesaver.

Plateau – The Harsh Reality of Distraction

On a challenging course, you're trying to text and call. The chance of success? Zero, and that's precisely what makes the impact so significant. You experience how disastrous even a few seconds of distraction can be, and why a phone in your hand behind the wheel is simply not an option.
